Good Neighbor Badge explained:
1. We use a badge to show that we watch out for each other, like a Neighborhood Watch
2. The yellow background represents joy, optimism, and intellectual energy
3. We put the black hand out front to symbolize we finally understand the struggle our black Neighbors, having their back throughout. We listen to and work with our black Neighbors.
4. The three hands represent all the shades of wheat as expressed in our skin tones.
5. The wheat stems represent our shared origin and history.
6. Pride flag on the left, representing that we stand with ALL our neighbors, regardless of qualifier.
7. American flag on the right. We are still fighting for the idea of America. WE ARE AMERICA.
8. The little blank space at the bottom of the badge is where you put your state and district number. For instance, AOC would put NY-14 in her space below the badge. Let's start expanding our Neighborhoods!
